# Telesphorepo

> A lean, self-hosted artifact repository for Maven, Gradle, npm, Python, Cargo, NuGet, Docker, Helm, Debian and raw files.

Source: https://docs.telesphorepo.com/

## No password can publish

A password or a read token can only download. Each publish gets its own token for one repository, and the token ends within 15 minutes.

One command, `telesphorepo publish`, gets the token for Gradle, Maven, npm, Python, Cargo, .NET, Helm, Debian and raw files, on your computer and in CI. Docker gets it from the same CLI.

An example token. The CLI closed it after a 90-second Gradle publish.

## Start here

Pick what you came to do. Each part of the docs is in the order you do it.

### You publish packages

Install the CLI once, set up each project, then publish from your computer or from CI.

1. [Install the CLI](/install-cli/)One command on Linux, macOS or Windows.
2. [Publish from a project](/publish-from-a-project/)Set up the project once, then run telesphorepo publish.
3. [Publish from CI](/publish-from-ci/)GitHub Actions and Jenkins, with no stored secret.

### Your builds use packages

Point a build or a package manager at a repository, with a read token when it is private.

- [Gradle and Maven](/download/)
- [npm, pnpm, Yarn and Bun](/npm/)
- [Python](/python/)
- [Rust and Cargo](/cargo/)
- [.NET and NuGet](/nuget/)

### You move from Nexus

Copy your Nexus 3 repositories and keep them in sync, move each project, then switch over.

1. [Copy your repositories](/move-from-nexus/)Copy, sync, and switch over on the server.
2. [Move your projects by hand](/move-projects-by-hand/)The files, addresses and lockfiles for each ecosystem.
3. [Move your projects with an AI agent](/move-projects-with-an-agent/)A prompt for each ecosystem, or the skill for Claude Code.

### You run the server

Take the server to production, make repositories and give people access.

- [Run the server](/run-the-server/)From the first start to HTTPS, storage, backups and upgrades.
- [Repositories and access](/repositories-and-access/)Hosted, proxy and group repositories, Publish, CI pipelines.
